Jenn's husband plays professional baseball and his team was in town playing the Gwinnett Braves. She was so sweet and offered us tickets to go watch Dallas play. It was P's first baseball game ever and he loved it! He was especially interested in the umpires play calls. By the end of the game, P was mimicking the ump's strike call. So funny!
Check out P's expression. I'm telling you, he was really into the game. We will definitely be attending more games in the near future.
Sweet Jack. He is such a ham!
We waited on Dallas outside the locker room after the game. He came out with two baseballs for Jack and P. By the look on their faces, you would of thought they won a million dollars. They were definitely the coolest kids at the ballpark getting a baseball from the coolest player on the field. Such a fun night! Jenn and Dallas, thanks so much for the tickets and the hospitality. We love y'all so much!

ten months.
Where does the time go? At ten months, EK is taking a few steps, army crawling at lightning speeds (she's too prissy to let her knees touch the hard/dirty ground), clapping, squealing, babbling, and laughing at everything. She is so much fun to be around, always the life of the party, center of attention. She loves to play with her brother and will even put up with his make-believe car races. We love our little princess so much.

soccer.
P started soccer this Fall. He is on the same team as Reese and Jackson, my dear friends' kiddos, so this season will sure be a lot of fun! It's a tad chaotic at the practices with a brand new coach and 15 kids, ranging from two to five years old. Half of the parents end of out on the field coaching their own kids and practically kicking the ball for them. It is HILARIOUS!
Pass drills with Zimmie.
The Kickers' biggest cheerleader. (By the way, this little 10-month old is taking steps.)
She just walks up and down the sidelines (or halfway out onto the field) hollering and clapping at the kiddos. She is really into the game. I think she may be more into it than her brother.
Sitting in the "circle" for the devotional.
P and Jack. This pic totally shows their personalities. Jack is always up to something and P is always following along. Too funny!
Coach Jason in circle time. Their little devotionals at the end of practice are so sweet.
Here's to a great soccer season! I'll try my hardest not to let my competitive side show its ugly face. I keep reminding myself, "They're three! Just let them have fun."

first day of school.
My sweet little man started Pre-K yesterday. I think I was more nervous than he was.
He sat right down and got to work. It was so hard to tell him goodbye. I think his teacher practically dragged me out of the classroom.
My sweet boy is growing up. I'm so proud of you, P.

preschool open house.
P is starting 3-year old pre-k at Bethany Baptist. I am super excited to get him in school and get him socializing with other children. He is a little timid around other kids, mainly because he is never around them, so I'm sure school will prove to be great for him. P, on the other hand, is not too thrilled. He has terrible memories of the "other" school we tried him in when he was one. That was a disaster.....he cried everyday for two months. I withdrew him in October of that year when I couldn't take the crying anymore. Poor buddy. It just wasn't a good fit for us. But, two years later, he still remembers it. And those terrible memories are what come to mind when he thinks of school. Let's hope he has a better experience at Bethany.
His teachers, Mrs. Leigh and Mrs. Kelly, were so inviting when we arrived. P walked right in, sat down at his table, and began working on an activity they had set up for the kids. I was so proud of him!
His daily folder and his completed kangaroo that they filled with goodies. The best way to make my kiddo feel comfortable is to hand him a bag of candy and toys. I think P will do just fine in this class.
P checking out the classroom toys.
Here's to a great 2011-2012 school year! I hope P loves his new school and meets lots of new friends.
