masters.

We headed over to Augusta yesterday for the practice rounds of the Masters with our friends Mike and Catherine. We had perfect weather for a perfect day. Beme watched Phoenix all day while we enjoyed a full day of golf. First, let me say that I don't know a whole lot about golf. I have played a little. Mainly at the driving range in our neighborhood. But, I would definitely not consider myself a golf fan. Until now. Our experience at Augusta National changed my whole outlook on the sport. Golf equals beautiful courses, good food, lots of sunshine, exercise, cheap (and cold) beer, and lots and lots of hot boys wearing tight pants. (Sorry, Taylor.) I think that I was a little more interested in the players' fashion selection than their bogies....or whatever you call it.

I just loved this guy's pants. You have to be really good to get away with wearing pants like these at Augusta National.

I am told this dude is good. Nick Faldo, I believe.

The course was absolutely breathtaking. Television nor pictures do it justice.

I am obsessed with this live oak tree. It has to be a gazillion years old. I can't wait until Sunday. I am definitely paying this stately tree another visit. Beautiful!

The clubhouse

The groundskeeping crews were the size of a small army. And they were oh so meticulous. Every blade of grass had to be in its place. I was quite intrigued by this lawnmower processional....

And check out these prices. This is definitely not your typical sporting event rip-off.

The scoreboard won't be empty on Sunday. We cannot wait to go back for the finals!

The Masters will definitely be an annual event in my calendar. Mike and Cat, we had an AWESOME time hanging out with y'all. Thanks for sharing your super exciting news with us! We can't wait for some fun weekends this summer at Heron Hill.
