Boy, was it a soggy Halloween. We attempted trick-or-treating in between rain showers. P was super psyched about dressing up us Elmo. We talked about it all week. He was certain he had "chosen" the right Sesame Street character. But when it came down to actually putting the costume on, "Momo" was no longer cool. He was fine with knocking on doors. He was actually a champ at it. But carrying the "Momo" bucket or putting on the "Momo" hat was absolutely out of the question. He got the "trick-or-treat" part down pat by about the fourth house or so. But the "Momo" hat and bucket were not cool. So we rolled with it. And I took pictures of his back. And that is just fine. Because there will be other Halloweens. And other trick-or-treatings. But at nineteen months old, Phoenix is too cool for Elmo. But "num-um-nums" are worth the effort. And he got "num-um-nums" at the first house. I consider this second Halloween a success. A bucket full of num-um-nums. A kid on a sugar high. And some pictures of my son wearing Elmo on his backside. Good times.

He's the cutest Elmo I've seen! And the "num-um-nums" or as Luke calls them "m-m's" are his favorite too!!
Thanks, Jennifer! What was Luke for Halloween?
