let the countdown begin.

Four weeks and counting until D-Day. And probably less until baby girl's actual arrival. We are getting so excited! We are putting the finishing touches on her nursery. Just a few more things and we will be ready for her arrival. We've been spending lots of quality time together as a family of three. I'm definitely enjoying every moment with my two sweet boys, smothering each of them with love and attention. Our new bundle of joy is definitely welcomed, but I will always have fond memories of this time together as a family of three. Things are going to change, for sure. But they are definitely changing for the better. I cannot wait to hold our sweet little girl in my arms. Four weeks and counting....

My mom and sister came over this weekend to help with organizing the nursery and washing all of baby girl's sweet tiny little clothes. We spent all morning just going through her closet.


Isn't it so much fun doing infant laundry? Everything is so soft and little and precious. And the scent of baby laundry detergent....I swear I could get high off of that stuff. It makes me want baby girl's arrival to come sooner rather than later. Me, my mom, and my sister literally spent an hour and a half just taking the tags off of all of her stuff. I felt like we were little elves on an assembly line. We separated and sorted and and sorted and separated. We had six loads of laundry once it was all said and done. Do you think she's going to be a tad bit spoiled? I think so. I am so happy to add a little bit of pink to our home decor. We can't wait to meet you baby girl! You are already so loved. It is amazing how much we love someone we've never even met.
