four months.

Our sweet Emma Kate is growing like a weed. At her four-month check-up, she was 15 pounds, 4 ounces and 24 1/2 inches long. Her nickname at the moment is Chunk-A-Lunk. (Hubby's choice.) She's sweet and bubbly, easy going and inquisitive. She loves everyone she meets, never hesitates to smile at a stranger. Her precious personality is all that I hoped for. She still nurses solely, and I'm procrastinating starting her on solids. Maybe in a month or so. She seems satisfied at the moment, so why be hasty? She loves playing on her playmat. She can roll in both directions and scoot a foot or so on her back or her tummy. She has discovered her toes, and tonight, she managed to pick up her pacifier and jam it in her mouth. She was so proud of herself, flashing us a grin as big as Texas. She has stolen all of our hearts in just four short months. We love this baby girl to pieces.
