so here goes nothing.....

Hello family, friends, and fellow bloggers. This is my first post on this newly discovered passion of mine....THE BLOG. For those of you that know me (especially mom and Taylor), I am NOT a tech savvy individual. I am starting this blog partly out of pure and simple interest in the concept, and partly (or mostly, maybe) out of guilt. Baby P is 9 months old and counting and I have yet to start his baby book. I had elaborate dreams of how perfect and intricate his baby book would be....with all of the cute scrapbooking additions, stickers, and die-cuts. But 9 months later, I have come to the realization that I am NOT a scrapbooker. One of my neighbors warned me of this. She told me before Phoenix was born that some mom's have it, and some mom's don't. I guess I am one of those that don't! I even went to the trouble of creating a whole room in my house designated to my crafty scrapbooking. Let's face it. It's not gonna happen. SO....this is the next best alternative. I DO love my computer. Baby Center was my best friend when I was preggo. Taylor says it's still an addiction....I am in denial. This is going to be my new addiction. So please check back often. It is my goal to keep everyone posted on Phoenix's milestones and quirky accomplishments, and I might add a few stories about our crazy life as new and naive parents. We love all of you very much!
