I love reading about up and coming hot spots and am always looking for something new to do with my family. I got a great tip from one of my favorite bloggers, Bakerella, about a quaint little cupcake shop in Atlanta called Little Cake Bakery. And who needs a better excuse to check them out? They sell gourmet cupcakes, for crying out loud! And my boys were eager to give their taste buds a break from all of my recent Skinny Girl meal creations.

We spent fifteen minutes deciding which flavor to choose. Their selection was ginormous. P didn't care. His taste buds don't discriminate. He wanted all of them.


We bought three cupcakes, one for me, one for Taylor, and one for P. Although, I do believe P ate two and a half of the three. We finally decided on a basic chocolate/vanilla one for P. You can't go wrong with this classic.


Taylor chose the other two: Marie Antoinette (their signature) and Boston Creme. Yummo.


P barely let me snap pictures of our divine little treats before digging right in. All he could say was, "Get in my belly, you pupcake". No, not really. But from this facial expression, you probably get the picture. P takes cake eating quite seriously.


He can shovel in some sweet treats. Using both his hand and a fork. He didn't waste any time.


He definitely got his mama's sweet tooth.
