snow 2010.

I know I've been a slacker. And I apologize. It snowed here in GA on February 12th. Not just any snow. It was a blizzard to us southern folks. And here it is, February 24th, and I'm just getting around to posting these adorable pics of my snow bunny. What kind of mom am I?

We got about 5 inches of snow, once it was all said and done. So pretty. I wish we would get a snow like this at least once a year. I don't think it has snowed like this since the early nineties. P loved it. He drug all of his beach shovels and buckets outside and shoveled snow until the sun went down. He must have felt obligated to clear the driveway before his daddy got home from work.

I tried to get him to make a snow angel, and this was about as far as we got with that.

In true southern fashion, we went to the grocery store for bread, milk, and firewood and snuggled up by the fire that evening with mugs of yummy hot chocolate. I love making priceless memories with my family. These warm and fuzzy moments are what make my world go round.

The next morning, I had to be at work at 8am. And the roads were a mess. But my sweet husband put his life on the line to make sure I made it to work on time. He makes so many sacrifices for us. Plus, I think men just have to prove themselves sometimes. The early morning light was beautiful. I took loads of pictures hanging out the window while Taylor was driving.

We are fortunate to live in the South, where snow storms are a treat, rather than an inconvenience. And then the snow melts, and everything returns to normal.
